The Aduro 3.0 sets the standard in helmet technology with its In-Mold construction, where the shock-absorbing EPS material is permanently bonded to the outer shell. This technology makes for a lightweight helmet (320g) that offers excellent protection in the event of a fall. The fit is highly customisable thanks to the Zoom Ace adjustment system with a full ring made of two plastic parts, ensuring optimal stability and comfort. Ventilation is optimised with 7 air intakes and 6 air outlets, ideal for moderate temperatures and active rides.
Extra features
Aduro 3.0 goes beyond protection and comfort; it also offers extras that enhance every ride. The helmet is ponytail-compatible and has a removable screen for added sun and rain protection. For better visibility in city traffic, an clip-on LED light can be optionally added. The lining is removable and washable, ensuring long-lasting wearing comfort. With flynet embedded in the foam and reflective stickers at the back, the Aduro 3.0 combines safety with functionality.

Good, snug-fitting bike helmet
With my small head (54cm size), it is always difficult to order a suitable headgear. So with this Abus Aduro 3.0, I was once again torn between size Small (51-55cm) and size M (52-58cm). In the end, I opted for Small and it fits like a glove! I even have room left if my head swells a bit during hot days. The helmet feels very solid and the ivory white colour is very nice. The helmet does not look colossal when you wear it. Adjusting the (internal) adjustment strap is very easy: you turn the wheel to make it tighter or looser and done. The chosen position is retained well. The snap closure under the chin is sturdy; I do have some trouble opening it. The straps are long enough and fall well along/around the ears so they don't touch or chafe anything. There is also nice enough wind coming through while biking. How it will like it in summer during hot days I can't say yet. This is my first ever bike helmet but, although the step to wearing a bike helmet is quite big, it makes me feel very safe. I really should have just done it earlier

.I know what the life of someone with brain damage is like. And if I can make the risk of brain damage much smaller with something so simple. Then I will gladly do so.
